Very Berry Wine Trail 2008

DATE: July 26 & 27, 2008

TIME: Wine & Berry Food Pairing at Stone Hill and all other wineries: Saturday: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday: 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

WHAT: Travel to seven local wineries tasting berries or berry creations paired with wine. Visit any or all wineries and enter in a drawing for a gift basket.

WHERE: Seven local wineries: Stone Hill Winery, Adam Puchta Winery, Bias Winery, Bommarito Winery, Hermannhof Winery, OakGlenn Winery, and Röbller Winery. Maps are available at the Hermann Welcome Center and at each participating winery. (Berry and wine pairings at Stone Hill in Founders Room, Tasting Room #2.)

TICKETS: $25 per person. Souvenir "Hermann Wine Trail" glass included in ticket price. Limited number of ADVANCE TICKETS available until July 24, 2008. Limited to only 800 weekend tickets and 400 Sunday-only tickets. Available online through the Hermann Wecome Center at www.hermannmo.info.

Bommarito Winery: Georgia Butter Pound Cake with fresh strawberries topped with whipped cream paired with Vignoles
Hermannhof Winery: Mixed Berry Panna Cotta paired with Vidal Blanc
OakGlenn Winery: Blueberry Cake with Lemon Glaze paired with Sweet Caroline
Röbller Winery: Mixed Green Salad and Beef with Blackberry Vinaigrette dressing paired with Villa Rouge

WINERY TOURS: Tours are on the hour and half hour. Adults = $2.50. Ages 6-12 = $1.00. Preschool = Free. Saturday Hours: 8:30 a.m. - 8 p.m. Last tour at 7 p.m. Sunday Hours: 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. Last tour at 5 p.m.
