Reserve Traminette Fact Sheet

2010 RESERVE TRAMINETTE

BLEND INFORMATION: Traminette, an up-and-coming new variety in Missouri vineyards, is a hybrid cross of well-known Gewurztraminer and Joannes Seyve 23-416. Cool fermentation in stainless steel tanks combined with extended sur-lie aging gives this wine a complexity and structure on the palate while preserving the spicy floral aroma characteristics of this variety. 265 cases produced.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION: Harvested September 15, 2010; Alcohol - 12.8%; Residual Sugar - 0.3%

TASTING INFORMATION: Reserve Traminette displays the unique floral aroma of the Traminette grape variety with hints of orange peel, guava and lime. Extended aging sur-lie (on the yeast) brings increased complexity and mouthfeel with a drier palate. Stone Hill Reserve Traminette is perfect as an aperitif or paired with seafood, poultry or Asian cuisine. Suggested retail price: $15.99 (750 ml)
